We collect and process personal data with your consent and/or as necessary to provide our services, operate our business, meet contractual and legal obligations, protect system security, and fulfill other legitimate interests.

Information you provide directly

We collect personal information you provide, such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other account details. If you make a purchase, we also collect payment information. Contributors additionally provide bank account details for payouts. Purchases on the Platform are made using credits, processed via our payment partner Razorpay — we do not store your full card or UPI details. When you upload an image, we also extract and store its EXIF metadata (e.g. camera, location, capture date).

Information collected automatically

We collect information like the website that referred you, your IP address, browser type, language, and access times. Navigational information, including pages viewed and links clicked, is also collected — see "Use of Cookies and Other Technologies" below.

Third-party sources

We may obtain information from third parties, including service providers and publicly available sources. We may combine data from these sources with the information described above.

Location of Personal Data

Personal data collected by Rewa Images may be stored and processed in India and, where a service provider requires it, elsewhere. We take steps to ensure data processing aligns with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for EU residents, the GDPR.

Sharing of Your Personal Data

Except as disclosed in this policy, we do not share your personal data externally. Sharing occurs with your consent, to complete a transaction (e.g. with Razorpay to process a payment), within our corporate group, and with approved service providers who help us operate the Platform. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Retention of Personal Data

We retain personal data as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — providing our services, completing transactions, and complying with legal obligations (for example, payment and tax records are kept for as long as Indian law requires). Retention periods vary based on the type and purpose of the data.

Accessing Your Personal Data

You can access, correct, or delete much of your information directly through the "My Account" section of the Platform. For anything you cannot complete there, contact us at legal@rewaimages.com.

Use of Cookies and Other Technologies

Rewa Images uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state and authentication, remember your cart contents, and — with your consent — analyze how the Platform is used. You may disable cookies in your browser, though some Platform features may not function properly without them.

Your Data Protection Rights

If you are an Indian resident, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, request data portability, and file a grievance with us. If you are located in the European Union, the GDPR gives you similar rights — access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and withdrawal of consent — as well as the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Security of Your Personal Data

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction — including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and encryption of sensitive financial data (such as contributor payout details) at rest. While we strive for security, no system can guarantee absolute protection. If a password protects your account, keep it confidential.

The Platform may link to websites with different privacy policies (for example, Razorpay's). We are not responsible for their policies or practices.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date below will reflect changes, and we will notify you of material changes as required by law.
