The children of Kandhamal were among the most severely impacted by the 2008 massacre targeting Christians and their institutions. At a formative age, they witnessed extreme violence inflicted on parents and relatives, leaving deep psychological scars that persist years later. Many continue to live with silence shaped by fear and trauma. Nearly 12,000 children saw their education disrupted as schools were destroyed and books and certificates burnt. Their right to learning remains unfulfilled. Healing requires culturally grounded counseling and sustained educational support. This exhibition seeks to awaken public conscience and mobilize collective responsibility toward restoring dignity, education, and justice for these children.
